Mission Avenue Open School PTA is aiming to exceed last year’s membership total of 213 members. Won’t you help us get there?
PTA does some amazing things for our students and our school, and they can’t do it without our support. For just $10 you can help make #MisisonMagic. And DON’T WORRY: There are no commitments or expectations of PTA members. You’re just simply showing your support for our great students, school, parents, and staff. Of course, everyone is welcome to get involved with the PTA, but there is absolutely no obligation to do so.
Grand Prize
This year, the classroom with highest membership* will win ALL of the below:
- 20 minutes of extra recess, crazy hair day or pajama day (class gets to decide)
- Water bottle decals for the whole class
- Bragging rights, and the honor of displaying (and naming!) our new PTA membership trophy and mascot for the year.
Second Place
The classroom with the second highest membership will win:
- 20 minutes of extra recess, crazy hair day or pajama day (class gets to decide)
All School Prize
We’re currently at 160 members. If we EXCEED last year’s total of 213 members, the whole school will get to watch as representatives from the top three classes get to throw water balloons at PTA executive board members.
Deadline: February 14, 2020
In keeping with the “I Love the PTA” theme, if you turn in your membership forms in or join online at missionpta.org by Valentine’s Day (February 14), your membership will count towards the contest. The winning class will be announced when the students return from the Presidents Week break.
*Membership percentage will be calculated by dividing the total number of members per class by the number of students in the class. May total more than 100%.
