Mission Avenue Open School is participating in National Walk or Bike to School Day on Wednesday, October 6, 2021! All Mission families are invited to join us at Mission North Park (3344 Mission Avenue in Carmichael, 95608) as we head for school at 7:40 am. The Sacramento Sherrif’s department has graciously assigned officers to support the event and keep our students safe.
Student walkers and bike riders are welcome to join us for a light grab-and-go breakfast in Buddy Plaza (even if you didn’t walk with the group from Mission North Park). PTA will be located at the school entrances, providing stickers to walkers and bike riders.
Please note that children are not to be dropped off at the park and left unattended. If you will not be walking with your child, make sure you have arranged to have another adult in charge of supervising your student(s).
All participants are strongly encouraged to wear a mask and practice social distancing while walking and picking up their breakfast.
