- 2/5: Assemble the beds
- Lead needs to take inventory of parts prior to Saturday, arrive early Saturday to move the panels to the garden area and make sure we have the pieces divided correctly by bed/color — Katherine will help, but needs at least one co-lead to assist)
- Need 10 volunteers to assemble the beds. (Not much kids can do to help on this day, but they’re welcome to come watch and play on the playground.)
- 2/12: Fill the beds with soil and finish connecting drip system
- Lead needs to calculate the amount of soil and other filler needed, schedule the soil purchase/delivery, be there to receive the delivery,and ensure we have enough volunteers for the day.
- Bryan will finish the drip system this weekend
- Need 15 volunteers to fill the beds with soil. This is a day when we could definitely use kids to help (in addition to the 15 adult volunteers)
- 2/19: Lay ground cover/bark
- Lead needs to calculate the amount of bark needed, schedule the purchase/delivery, be there to receive the delivery, and ensure we have enough volunteers for the day, and make sure volunteers know what sort of tools and equipment they need to bring.
- Need 15 volunteers to spread the wood chips. This is another day when we could definitely use kids to help (in addition to the 15 adult volunteers)
- TBD (March): Family garden work day(s) and planting
