We hope you plan to join us for a day of family fun, on Saturday, October 26, from 1 – 5 pm at the Mission Avenue Open School Fall Carnival. The carnival will feature carnival games, face painting, live music, food trucks, an inflatable obstacle course/slide (open to kids 4 and older), and more!
Entry to the carnival is free, but tickets are required for most activities. Pre-order your tickets by Friday October 26 for discounted ticket pricing. You can order your tickets online or fill out this order form and drop it off in the office. Pre-ordered tickets will be available to pick up at the ticket booth on day of the carnival. Tickets can also be purchased on site at the carnival.

We can’t make this happen without YOU. Our game and concessions booths are staffed by Mission parents, grandparents, alum, and any other community members who would like to help out!! Have a responsible middle or high schooler who needs community service hours? Sign them up!
Each class is responsible for staffing one booth.
We gladly accept prizes, including small toys, individually wrapped candy, stickers, or really any small, inexpensive goodies you think your kids would enjoy! Drop your donations off in the box outside the office!
Think musical chairs, but with baked goods as prizes!! This is one of our most popular games every year! Drop off baked goods in the MP Room on Friday October 25.

The Carnival Committee organizes and puts on the School Carnival. This event features carnival games including the cake walk, face painting, inflatable obstacle course/slide, and many more. Food booths are a main staple including popcorn and food trucks. We also invite community vendors to rent a space that feature great crafts and games. Mission Carnival is a PTA coordinated event with classroom and community support. Tickets for games are sold presale, with a discounted rate before the event. Tickets are on sale day of event too. There is no entrance fee for the event.
