Did you know that our biennial auction provides much of the funding for the Mission PTA? This event traditionally brings in around $35,000, which directly supports programs like our all-school musical, field trip scholarships, teacher grants, school supplies, school maintenance and beautification, and so much more!
We know this tradition is new to many of our families since we haven’t been able to host this event since 2019, so here’s a quick look at how YOU can help make this event a success:
Buy a Ticket: The Mission auction is a whole lot of fun, and we’d love to see you there on March 11, 2023, at the Milagro Center in Carmichael. Tickets are on sale now at http://bonvoyage2023.givesmart.com.
Donate Goods or Services: Mission families provide the majority of the items to be auctioned or raffled, and we need your donations now more than ever. Donating is easy, tax deductible and really supports the school. Reach out to friends and family and ask them to donate, too! Fill out the donation form on the event website, or email auction@missionpta.org.
Become a Sponsor: Do you own a business or have connections with local business owners who might be interested in sponsoring the auction? But you don’t have to be a business owner to sponsor. Family sponsorships are welcome, too! Sponsorship opportunities are available for all budgets, ranging from $100 for a table sponsorship, up to $1,000 for our marquee event sponsor. Learn more here!
Hit Up Local Businesses: Grab a copy of our donation letter and sponsorship request form and hit up some local businesses! Can’t get out and about, we could also use help making calls and filling out online donation forms. Reach out to auction chairs at auction@missionpta.org and they’ll assign you a list of prospects.
Ask Friends and Family: Put out the word to your friends and family and ask if any of them have items to donate, services to offer, or just want to make a tax deductible donation to support our students.
Send Us Leads: Feel a little weird asking friends and family for donations or sponsorships? Let us do the work! Just send us your leads, with a little background and context, and our auction committee would be happy to reach out on your behalf.
Follow and Share: Follow the Mission PTA on Facebook and Instagram and share our auction posts with your extended social networks.
Volunteer: We are looking for volunteers to help with auction prep and day-of jobs. Check out the signups for more details about how you can help.
