Since we can’t gather in the Multi-Purpose Room like we normally do at this time of year for our annual Winter Sing-Along, we invite each of you to submit a video to be compiled into a virtual group song!
- What we’ll be singing: 12 Days of Christmas
- How to participate: Record a video of yourself singing along to the 12 Days of Christmas (the music will be posted in Mrs. Hadzi-Antich’s Google Classroom).
- Upload your video: By noon on December 12 at www.missionpta.org/singalong. IMPORTANT NOTE: You must use a non-sanjuan.edu google account. District permissions do not allow uploads to drives outside their domain. Alternatively, you can use a free file transfer service like We Transfer to email your file to Mission Mom Brit Barnes (our volunteer video editor) at buri.sama@gmail.com.
Tips:
- Record your video in widescreen horizontal/landscape mode.
- Record yourself (and your siblings) singing the 12 Days of Christmas, using the music in Mrs. Hadzi-Antich’s Google Classroom. You do not have to sing the whole song, but please at least sing the last verse, that counts down from the 12th day to the 1st day.
- Don’t worry about getting a perfect take. If you mess up, keep singing. We will select the best clips to compile into the overall performance video.
- Have fun! Wear your Mission Magic gear, ugly holiday sweaters, costumes, or whatever brings a smile to your face.
Mission music teacher Mrs. Hadzi-Antich will be reviewing the song with students in their music classes this week. The video will debut on December 18 on the Mission PTA Facebook page, and the Mission YouTube channel. (Please note that participation is optional.)
