Mission Avenue PTA is thrilled to announce our first (and hopefully annual) Storybook Read-a-Thon. Flyers with your child’s login information are being included in the 10/16 materials. We hope you will join us as we encourage our kids and their love of books, all while raising money for our school.
Step 1: Activate your account online at www.read-a-thon.com. Your teacher should have given you a flyer with your reader code at our October 16 materials pickup.
Step 2: Read! Students will track their reading goals via the Read-a-Thon.com platform. Each student is encouraged to read at least 20 minutes per day. Prizes will be awarded based on total minutes read and total money raised.
Step 3: Share. Students share their reading achievements with friends and family to increase literacy awareness and raise money for our school.
NOTE: If your child is not an independent reader yet, being read to and listening to audiobooks count, too!
