Did you know that with Amazon Smile, every time you place an order, the Mission PTA can earn money to support student programs? No strings attached. It’s really just that easy.
If you need a little motivation to sign up, now’s the time! Everyone who can show us a screenshot confirming they’re using Amazon Smile—and have designated Mission Avenue Open Elementary PTA as your chosen charity—will be entered into a drawing to win some really GREAT prizes. Read on for more details.
Step 1: Sign Up for Amazon Smile
To sign up for Amazon Smile; visit smile.amazon.com, log in as you normally would and select Mission Avenue Open Elementary PTA as the group you are supporting. Then, just remember to go to smile.amazon.com EVERY TIME you shop with Amazon.
Here are some tips to make sure you’re ALWAYS using Amazon Smile when shopping at Amazon:
- Chrome Users: Install the Smile Always extension and you will automatically be redirected to Smile.Amazon.com anytime you type or click on an Amazon.com link.
- Activate Amazon Smile on your Amazon app. Open the app, and click on the triple line icon in the top left to open the menu. Scroll down and click “Settings” then “Amazon Smile.” There you can activate Amazon Smile on your Android and iPhone app.
- Create shortcut for Amazon Smile. If you’re shopping via a device for which the two options above do not apply, create a shortcut that points to Smile.Amazon.com and save it to your desktop or home screen.
Step 2: Enter our Contest
To enter the contest:
- Select Mission Avenue Open Elementary PTA as your charity on Smile.Amazon.com.
- Like the Mission Avenue Open Elementary PTA Facebook page.
- Like the official contest thread on Facebook (pinned post).
- Share a screenshot in the comments of the contest thread that shows you have selected Mission as your Amazon Smile Charity.
Now, the good stuff. PRIZES.
The deadline to enter the contest is Sunday, July 14 at 5pm. On July 14 at 6pm, we will randomly pick FIVE winners to receive the prize packs described below. If you are not on Facebook, you can email your screenshot to website@missionpta.org to be entered into the contest.
Grand Prize (1 available): $20 coupon for 2019 Missionwear, $20 in tickets for the Mission Fall Carnival, 2 Mission grocery totes, 2 Mission car magnets, 2 Mission decals, and 2 Mission stickers.
Second Prize (1 available): $5 coupon for 2019 Missionwear, $10 in tickets for the Mission Fall Carnival, 2 Mission grocery totes, 1 Mission car magnet, 1 Mission decal, and 1 Mission sticker.
Third Prize (3 available): $5 in tickets for the Mission Fall Carnival, 1 Mission grocery tote, and 1 Mission car magnet.
