One great Mission tradition, Centers Day, is this Friday, September 21. On Centers Day at Mission, students will rotate through many stations (known as Centers), each with a different activity or presentation on this year’s Opening Unit, “Dig It.” These centers will be presented by experts, friends of the Mission community, teachers and parents. The activities will start at 8:15 am and conclude before lunch at 11:40 am.
There are several ways Mission parents can help with Centers Day!
- Volunteer at the PTA Center, which includes a planting activity and a “Dead Bug” tag game.
- Provide extra supervision to your child’s class as they make their way through the Centers.
- Provide class photography services and take pictures. *Please connect with your teacher regarding student photo privacy needs from your class prior to sharing your pictures.
**Please report to the field area behind the Discovery Club classroom to connect with the PTA team who will be helping direct volunteers to places they are needed.**
